John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, believed deeply in the importance of education and its role in spiritual formation. He supported and helped found schools, especially for the poor.

Continuing Wesley’s journey, GBHEM is deeply involved in education and students’ spiritual development, providing them with the resources needed to pursue their calling and to lead the next generation to Christ.  We seek to nurture principled difference-makers – Christians who care about making the world a better place.

Are you a student considering or currently attending a United Methodist-related college or university? Pursuing licensing or ordination? Or are you a clergyperson looking for a chance to learn and grow? GBHEM stands ready to walk with you, helping you every step of the way and connecting you to the resources you need to claim and flourish in your calling.
