Location: Lead Hub Britain
Executive Director: Jane Leach
Lead Hub Britain is embedded in the Cambridge Theological Federation and works closely with the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University. We partner with Africa University and Kenya Methodist University in building theological capacity through offering PhD programs for Methodist theological educators and with seminaries around the world to offer study abroad programs in Cambridge for ecumenical and pan-Methodist formation. Our research in global Wesleyan theology, leadership and ministry development and faith in public life feeds our professional development courses and free public access programs. We welcome visiting scholars and sabbatical visitors to visit us in person at Cambridge and scholars, students and practitioners to join us online for study and worship.
Hello and welcome to the Lead Hub Britain!
World Parish Webinar: Connect with global practitioners and thinkers in the Wesleyan family each month to decolonise Wesleyan theology and practice. We invite you to join us as we explore Wesleyan theological approaches to conflict beginning with “The Peaceable Reign of Christ in Charles Wesley’s Hymns” presented by Paul Chilcote and followed by “A Methodist Examination of Colonialism, Cultural Violence and Cultural Peace” presented by Wan Yin Lim from Malaysia (www.wesley.cam.ac.uk/centre-for-global-wesleyan-theology/wpw/)
Reflective Pastoral Supervision: For over 20 years our expertise in the non-directive, creative accompaniment of clergy and other leaders has continued to grow ecumenically and internationally. Supported by GBHEM, professional courses are now being taught in the United States to equip leaders for this fast growing, effective and innovative way of living into the connexional principles of relationality and accountability. Sign up for our intensive courses in Cambridge (July 2024) or in Nashville, TN (January 2024 (www.wesley.cam.ac.uk/centre-for-leadership-and-ministy-development/pastoral-supervision/)
