Introducing the New GBHEM.ORG: A Website for the Modern Church

Published On: July 30, 2019

The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM) serves a modern global audience, helping Methodists around the world discover, claim and flourish in God’s call on their lives. Our website, gbhem.org, is a crucial point of communication between our agency and the many clergy, students and educators we assist.

In July, GBHEM launched a redesigned and reimagined gbhem.org to ensure that all our constituents receive best-in-class service from our website. The new gbhem.org was created with the user in mind and with a layout to meet the needs of our diverse audience.

Explore the website today and take in new features such as:

  • A precise search tool that allows you to narrow your inquiry based on who you are (student, clergy, faculty, etc.) and what category of information you’d like to see.
  • Faster loading times and a structure that is optimized for mobile browsing.
  • A Google translate plugin that makes the site accessible in nine languages including Korean, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.
  • A dedicated Loans & Scholarships page with the latest information on financial aid opportunities for both students in and outside the U.S., as well as information on available grants for Methodist educational programs.
  • A detailed, searchable Events page with a preview of upcoming events on the GBHEM homepage.

We invite you to remain in close contact with us as you navigate the new gbhem.org. Feel free to reach out to individual GBHEM departments through our Connect page or send general questions and comments to communications@gbhem.org.

GBHEM is thrilled to share this new tool to assist you on your journey into God’s calling.
