The Training for District Superintendents and Directors of Connectional Ministries at Lake Junaluska, N.C, is an onboarding experience for new and returning DSs, DCMs, and those serving in similar roles. Hosted by the Council of Bishops, the training is facilitated in collaboration with the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry.

Registration is by invitation-only through your area’s episcopal leadership.

District Superintendent

Serves as an extension of the episcopal office and functions as the district’s chief mission strategist, overseeing the ministry of clergy and churches in the communities of their assigned area.

Director of Connectional Ministries

Serves as a steward of the annual conference’s vision, ensures resources align with its goals and fosters connections between ministries to support the overall mission.
