The Office of Clergy Lifelong Learning

The Office of Clergy Lifelong Learning oversees continuing education and spiritual formation for clergy and provides support for United Methodist clergywomen and racial-ethnic clergy in areas of theological education, enlistment and research.

UMC Cyber Campus

GBHEM is continually looking for innovative ways of delivering our educational programs and leadership formation processes. Our solutions must be connectional, contextual and collaborative to address the challenges facing the Church, the academy and the world.

Over the last year, we have evaluated our online learning platforms. We’ve surveyed our constituents as to their learning preferences and experience with our current tools. We have collaborated with others throughout the connection who are working in this same digital space to share best practices.

What we’ve come to understand is this: GBHEM would best serve the connection by joining forces with already forming global e-learning partnerships.

Therefore, GBHEM is discontinuing UMC Cyber Campus and its affiliated sites effective May 1, 2020. We will focus our attention on and participate in the global e-learning consortiums within the connection.
