Campbell offers a comprehensive and critically documented account of the founding of Methodism and the distinctive identity of the religious community.

The Clergy Lifelong Learning Office at GBHEM recently traveled to Mongolia with six church leaders to connect with the Southeast Asia and Mongolia Provisional Central Conference and the faculty and students at Huree University. Registration Available for Eight-Year Assessment Training Event in Orlando

The Rule 2 Grant is designed to support collegiate ministry groups, local churches, districts, conferences or other groups affiliated with The United Methodist Church and serving college/university students. Rule 2 is administered by GBHEM through the office of Collegiate Ministry.

The Division of Higher Education at GBHEM announced the new Cutting-Edge Curriculum Award for faculty at United Methodist-related colleges and universities. Students and faculty of the Bishop Innis Graduate School of Theology at UMU in Monrovia, Liberia conclude a successful day of training to use their new e-readers in the theological program.
The E-Reader Project is a joint program of GBHEM and Discipleship Ministries. The two agencies, along with the African Association of United Methodist Theological Institutions (AAUMTI), led a one-day e-reader training this summer in Liberia at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Monrovia.

The Office of Loans and Scholarships at GBHEM, a center for leadership development across the denomination, awarded more than $1.66 million to 206 recipients of the Excellence in Clergy Leadership Scholarship, created to help United Methodist clergy avoid excessive educational loan debt, minimize financial stress and build financial acumen.

The Candidacy Office at GBHEM has partnered with Wespath and EY (formerly Ernst & Young) to offer financial planning services to certified candidates for licensed and ordained ministry. The services will be offered at no cost to candidates upon certification by their district committees on ordained ministry.

Collegiate Ministers Make Iconic Pilgrimage Across Spain
Seven collegiate ministers from across The United Methodist Church joined together for Sojourn 2017. This group made the iconic pilgrimage across France and northern Spain on the Camino de Santiago, ending at the legendary burial place of St. James.
