Straight Talk: The Humanity of Budget Cuts on a Church-related Campus
December 9, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm CST
Higher education was fiscally challenging prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Colleges and universities were already suffering financially due to declining enrollment, shrinking financial support from state and federal governments, and other factors. Now, as COVID-19 cases continue to soar, many university presidents are having to make additional budgetary cuts in order to maintain long-term institutional sustainability.
GBHEM will host speakers from Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) to discuss how their university implemented significant budgetary reductions in order to secure their long-term future.
