The Annual Friend of Children Awards recognizes donors, volunteers and community partners who have made a significant impact through their contributions of time, talent and treasure. The award is presented by the Boys and Girls Country of Houston and divided into several different categories. This year, GBHEM will be recognized for its J.A. Knowles Memorial Scholarship and presented with a 2023 Friends of Children Award
