How the Future Will Inform What We Will Do and Where We Will Go
A Global Conversation
This first-of-its-kind event, presented by the Council of Bishops of The United Methodist Church and inviting agency general secretaries, will provide insights that begin to drive thinking and activation as we move into the future.
On Monday, April 19, 2021, starting at 7:30 a.m. Pacific Time, the 2.5-hour interactive session will be facilitated by the leading futurist, Bob Johansen, a distinguished fellow at the Institute for the Future based in Silicon Valley.
Join us for the profound and challenging task of proactively planning for the future of The United Methodist Church, by looking back from 10 years ahead and identifying the four to five external forces most likely to disrupt our ministry and mission. Our journey will be guided by Bob’s book, “Full Spectrum Thinking.” All those invited will receive a link to download the digital version of Bob’s book in preparation for this time.
