Internship: A Christian Ministry in the National Parks
Encounter God in a truly awe-inspiring natural setting! Become part of a rich tradition that goes back more than 50 years. A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (ACMNP) is an interdenominational ministry that extends the Christian message to those who live, work, and vacation in America’s national parks.
ACMNP Ministry Teams lead interdenominational worship services in the natural sanctuaries of God’s creation. We bring Christian teaching and community to people often isolated from immediate contact with local churches, including millions of visitors who come to enjoy God's great natural wonders.
With few exceptions, Staff Members arrive in the parks between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and stay 90 days or longer. Those who can stay into September and October have broader options for park placement.

Internship: Appalachian Outreach
Appalachian Outreach connects people in need with those who have resources in order to help the less fortunate. Many people are able to give personal time by actually working on the project sites while others can only support the ministry in a monetary way. The amount of support is directly equivalent to the amount of work that can be completed. Therefore, AO strives to meet as many needs as possible. Students can have their choice of home repair, ministry center work (clothing, food, furniture, Hispanic ministry, computer training & repair, children's ministry, recycling, etc.)
Appalachian Outreach hires 15 college students to work in poverty home repair and the various ministries listed above. These students help A.O. host church's (Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic, etc.) mission team during June and July. Term of service is the last week in May through the first week of August. A week's orientation helps equip students to serve.
