Sierra Service Project logoSierra Service Project is a non-profit organization providing life-changing experiences through acts of service repairing Native American homes. We invited high school age youth and young adults to experience the profound power of serving people who have a culture and life experience different from their own.

Each summer, approximately 1200 teenagers, 250 adult volunteers and 30 paid summer staff live, worship and work together on four different project sites. Together, their work results in over 100 safer, drier and more comfortable homes.

Birchwood CampBirchwood Camp in Chugiak, Alaska, offers a summer mission opportunity for its 5 week summer camp season. Opportunities for service include as a counselor or cook’s helper. Participants are part of a caring Christian community and are part of a vital ministry serving campers from all over the state. Alabama Rural MinistryAlabama Rural Ministry (ARM) is a mission organization supported by the General Board of Global Ministries and is located in the Alabama-West Florida Conference. ARM coordinates home repair efforts and hosts day camps with local children in poverty-stricken areas in Alabama. They are currently seeking college students interested in being a part of their summer staff.
