Ethnic In-Service Training (EIST)
EIST funds are designated for the recruitment, training, and retention of ethnic United Methodist persons, both male and female, in leadership positions in every level of the church and its ministry. Partnerships and collaborative efforts between and with campus ministry, chaplaincy, and institutions of higher education and general agencies are encouraged.
Ethnic In-Service Training Fund for Clinical Pastoral Education (EIST - CPE)
DOM/UMEA’s EIST-CPE Fund, funded by the World Communion Sunday offerings, is used to provide stipends for racial and ethnic minority persons involved in all levels of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education.
