UMC Cyber Campus
The vision for UMC Cyber Campus is to provide free theological training resources in multiple language and to make these resources available globally at a low cost through Internet technology.
The mission of UMC Cyber Campus is to assist The United Methodist Church in making disciples of Jesus Christ by using online educational tools. The goal is to use these resources to effectively develop leadership for United Methodist clergy and laity.
The UMC Cyber Campus will be a Web site where short recorded sessions about various subjects are available anytime, anywhere, to anyone, as long as the Internet is accessible. Examples of sessions include: It’s A Matter of Relevance, The Power of the Coach Approach to Ministry, What is a Church?, and Complaint Process Overview-What’s New, What’s Not.
The UMC Cyber Campus will nurture grassroots leadership, empower local leaders, encourage small group discussions, and provide more frequent opportunities to use United Methodist materials for leadership development, especially for the young people.
