The General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, an agency of The United Methodist Church, is located in Nashville, Tennessee. The Board seeks to fulfill its mission by shaping and supporting the church’s educational mission with its schools, colleges, universities, and seminaries, campus ministers, and annual conference boards of higher education and campus ministry through training, consultation, research, and publications for all its constituencies. Additionally, the board provides leadership in inviting, equipping, and supporting faithful leaders by establishing standards for effective ministry, providing systems of accountability and support, exploring new forms of ministry, and providing quality resources that support all forms of ministry.

The Board seeks to hire candidates who possess the education, experience, and competencies that support its mission.
