Issues of Faith features Africa University
James Salley, associate vice chancellor for Institutional Development for Africa University, discussed the economic difficulties faced by the United Methodist-related university during an appearance on Issues of Faith on NewsChannel 5+ in Nashville, Tenn.
Salley talked about the founding of Africa University, the mission of the school, and what graduates are accomplishing in Africa. He also discussed the difficulties faced by the college because of hyperinflation in Zimbabwe and told viewers that anyone could give to Africa University. He spoke of the urgent appeal by Fanuel Tagwira, interim vice chancellor of Africa University, asking United Methodist churches to pay their full apportionment in 2008.
