Campus Ministry

What is Campus Ministry
Campus Ministry is the official presence of The United Methodist Church on the college and university campuses of the world. We are called to share with our campuses the transformational nature of Christ in a way that raises up a new generation of thoughtful, articulate Christians who care about making the world a better place. While this calling looks and feels very different across our campuses, it is central to our identity and it compels us to provide intentional collegiate ministries that call out to this emerging generation.
Who We Serve
Campus Ministers and Chaplains
Providing training, resources, and networking to those who are campus ministry professionals is a primary task of what we do. We believe that campus ministry is a specialized calling within The United Methodist Church that requires the latest and most formative materials for shaping the lives of students across the globe.
College and University Students
Students are at the heart of what we do. In addition to supporting those who directly lead our students, we have a full array of resources, events, and leadership formation tools that students can access through our office. We long to provide the tools students need to help discern their call, develop their skills, and discover a community of other young Christian leaders.
Conference Staff and Boards of Higher Education and Campus Ministry
Campus ministry would not be possible without the support of our Conference leaders. Through connecting with other leaders and developing specific training resources for their work, we are constantly looking for ways to support the work of our Conferences as they look toward the future of campus ministry.
Parents of College and University Students
We realize it is difficult watching your child leave for school. There are many uncertainties and so many changes that come with the college experience. We provide resources and a community for parents to discover ways to communicate and support their students. We especially want to support parents as their student discovers "what they're going to do with the rest of their life."
